  • Plans include providing services for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

  • With a focus on providing family-friendly services, this facility will offer a flexible hourly fee schedule where families pay for only the number of hours they use.

  • The intended daily operation of the facility includes hours from 6:00 a.m. until midnight six (6) days a week, Monday through Saturday.

  • Food service operations will include a hot breakfast, lunch, dinner, and three snacks per day, with all meals meeting USADA Child and Adult Care Food Program standards.

Quality Early Learning Standards:

  • Fire, health, safety, and learning standards will assure that this facility will be a center of excellence.

  • The Partnership has demonstrated a commitment to exceed Wyoming State Child Care Licensing Standards by meeting national program standards for the facility, the program, and excellence in learning. This facility will meet all six indicators as identified in Building Strong Foundations for Learning: Six Quality Indicators published in 2003 by the U. S. Department of Education.

Quality Professional Teacher Standards:

  • Highly qualified and well-educated staff will be the norm in this early care and education facility.

  • Demonstration of the importance and value of early childhood education will be supported by hiring staff who have an educational background in early childhood education, child development, oral language acquisition, and an understanding of how early literacy develops.

  • The Early Education Partnership will be a leader in supporting professional development of all employees through providing for staff to attend college level classes, work on obtaining a degree relevant to their job, attend conferences, and participate in workshops.

  • The Early Education Partnership will be a leader in the community and will support the important work of Laramie County early childhood providers by inviting their participation in all on-site professional development opportunities.
